Lee Eliseian

Lee Eliseian began his flooring career in 1976.  During the mid-seventies he served as apprentice for the Local 1290 Carpet, Linoleum and Soft Tile Workers Union. After his apprenticeship he served as Production Manager for Andrews Linoleum Co., Oakland, California.
In 1982 he was issued a C-15 Flooring & Floor Covering Contractors License by the State of California Contractors State License Board and founded Contemporary Floors, Commercial Flooring Contracting Co., then located in Martinez, California. 
In 1997, after receiving training and certifications to perform concrete moisture testing and hard surface flooring inspections, Lee created IFTI — Independent Floor Testing and Inspection Inc.
Lee is a Certified Hard Surface Inspector, issued by the Academy of Textile & Flooring, Los Angeles, California, 1996 and by the Floor Covering Institute of Technical Service, Rocky Face, Georgia, 1997.  He is certified as an Asbestos Class III Supervisor and AHERA Operations & Maintenance, issued by ACC, Oakland, California, 1997.  Lee holds a Certificate of Achievement, Concrete: Principles and Practices, issued by the Portland Cement Association, Skokie, Illinois, 1998 and a Certificate of Achievement, Troubleshooting Concrete Field Problems, issued by the Portland Cement Association, Skokie, Illinois, 1998.
Lee is a member in good standing with WESTCON Consultants association (Director), International Concrete Repair Institute, American Concrete Institute, the World Floor Covering Association and the Professional Retail Store Maintenance Association. Lee is an active member of the ASTM F06 Committee on Resilient Flooring.  He Chairs the ICRI 710-B Subcommittee on Moisture-Related Issues with Concrete Floor Finishes as well as an active member of the ACI 302.2R Committee on the Guide for Concrete Slabs that Receive Moisture-Sensitive Flooring Materials.
